Chris is a solicitor with over 14 years post qualification experience in conveyancing.
Chris has dealt with thousands of cases over the years and range from simple freehold sale and purchases to complex leasehold multi unit properties.
Chris splits his time between managing the firm and managing conveyancing cases. He supervises the team and is himself supervised by another partner to ensure high level of client care and satisfaction.
In the field of private client, Chris acts for a range of clients both individuals and companies in the sale and purchase of land and properties. Chris has an established client base who regularly re-instruct him on new transactions. Chris is also regularly recommended by local Estate Agents and Mortgage Brokers.
In relation to elderly client and mental health cases, Chris represents his clients in relation to asset management and inheritance tax planning and also in applications against detention before the First-Tier Mental Health Tribunal and also in relation to proceedings before the Court of Protection and the County Court. Chris is well respected by his clients and other healthcare professionals who he comes into contact with.

The range of transaction varies from a flat through to large plots of land and high value residential properties and block properties. Elderly Client and Mental Health
Chris represents a range of clients.
Chris represents elderly clients who wish to make lifetime planning in relation to powers of attorney and inheritance tax planning. This is a particularly difficult area of law which is constantly developing and Chris is known as a leader in this area.
Chris is also regularly instructed by those detained and frequently appears before the First-Tier Mental Health Tribunal and also represents those before the Court of Protection.

Over the course of his career, Chris has been involved in a number of notable cases before both the County Court, Court of Protection and Court of Appeal.

Chris is a member of The Law Society’s Panel of Accredited Mental Health Solicitors. The panel recognises and acknowledges those with particular expertise in dealing with mental health related cases.
Chris has previously been a Police Station accredited representative.
Chris is a member of a number of Mental Health Charities.

Chris is always keen to assist those who may ordinarily lack the ability to properly represent themselves. Chris has particular interest in mental health related cases and assisting the most vulnerable people in our society.
Chris has previously been a volunteer advisor at the Citizens Advice Bureau and held the post for over 4 years.
